On this Remembrance day 2025, we pause to honour the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of the men and women in the armed forces. While we remember those who gave their lives, it is also crucial to recognise the challenges faced by veterans and the families who stand behind them.
At eXPD8, we are proud to support the Armed Forces Covenant, ensuring that those who serve, or have served, are not disadvantaged in their civilian lives. This commitment extends beyond the individual service member to their families, who often endure frequent relocations and the many complexities that come with military life. Veterans, too, face unique challenges when returning to civilian life, including a higher risk of homelessness. It’s our duty to support them in every way we can.
What We’re Doing:
- Supporting Reservists: We’ve enhanced our reservist support, now offering one week of paid leave and one week of unpaid leave for training, allowing our colleagues to balance their civilian roles with their military commitments.
- Recognising Military Skills: We understand the valuable skills that military personnel bring to the workforce and are committed to recognising and integrating these talents into roles at eXPD8.
- Opportunities for Families: We offer employment opportunities to family members of serving personnel, ensuring job stability even when they need to relocate. We also provide support with time off during deployments and returns.
- Community Building: We’re creating spaces for Armed Forces personnel and their families to connect and share their experiences within eXPD8, with careful consideration of security.
- Education and Awareness: Through eDUK8, we’re expanding educational resources to raise awareness and understanding of the challenges military families face.
- Supporting Poppy Day: We stand together in supporting key events like Poppy Day, paying tribute to the sacrifices made by our armed forces and remembering those who have fallen.
eXPD8 is all about people, its success and future is shaped by the people within the business, working as a team. We truly believe that working together, we get it right first time. Every time. Therefore, we are always looking to expand our team, to find great individuals who can contribute and help us achieve our goals.
In order to find the best talent, we believe it is important, in fact crucial, that we are open minded and supportive of all individuals, whatever their background. So we are proud to be a signatory to a number of focused individual covenants, of which the Armed Forces Covenant is one. At eXPD8 we want to recognise the value that Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families can bring to our business.
Therefore, eXPD8 promise that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, will be treated fairly and will be supported and offered full access to all employment opportunities within eXPD8.

We value the unique skills that Serving Personnel, Veterans, Reservists, and military families bring to our workforce. At eXPD8, we are committed to ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, along with their families, are treated fairly and have full access to all employment opportunities.

This Remembrance Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the courage of those who have served and continue to serve, as well as the families that support them. It’s through remembrance that we honour their sacrifices and commit to a future of respect, understanding, and support. Unless we forget.
